Based in Virginia, he practices as an Emergency Medicine Physician and serves as the medical director for multiple EMS agencies, where he applies his expertise to advance patient care and safety.

Inspired by the artistry of tattoos and driven by a passion for improving client comfort, Dr. Mace co-founded DocBlok with Dr. Christopher Rajan, DO. Together, they introduced a groundbreaking, science-backed approach to pain management, utilizing ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia to significantly reduce discomfort during tattoo sessions.

With a unique ability to merge medical precision with artistic vision, Dr. Mace has been pivotal in shaping DocBlok's mission: to transform the tattoo experience into one that is comfortable, accessible, and empowering for clients and artists alike.

Dr. Christopher Rajan is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician currently practicing in Florida, where he also serves as a Medical Director. Beyond his work in the emergency department, he has served as a flight physician on fixed-wing aircraft, managing the international transport of critically ill patients.

Dr. Rajan's expertise in using ultrasound for both diagnosing and treating emergency patients inspired the novel application of techniques utilized by DocBlok.
